LunarStorm is born at the stroke of midnight
While the world fears the millennium bug, Rickard presses the button. Stajl Plejs Community becomes LunarStorm, and a company.

I sat there on my own and pressed the button at twelve o'clock. It was the most boring and at the same time the most fun New Year's Eve of my life.
- ”While others shut down their computer systems for fear of the millennium bug, I sat there on New Year's Eve and pressed the button for the new Stajl.”
- LunarWorks takes over operations on 1 January 2000. Test version from New Year, official premiere on 5 May 2000.
- The first version was in English: ”LUNARSTORM: AHEAD OF YOU” (Aftonbladet IT, from Sweden's biggest tabloid, and the Swedish design magazine Cap & Design, 2000).
- stajl.com redirects to LunarStorm (Wayback, 1 March 2000).
- The English front page: ”From Day One of 2000, 40,000 members from LunarStorm’s predecessor, Stajl Plejs Community, are on the scene!” (Copyright 1996-2000 Intrasystem Interactive AB).
- Rickard 2024: the millennium bug was ”something the consulting industry invented”, so he launched the new, untested system when everyone else was shutting theirs down.
