LunarStorm 4.0: closed for a week, then everything new
After a week's closure, 4.0 opens in stages on 27 and 28 January 2001; the members wait on IRC. The CEO: ”y'all are bloody brilliant”.
The logbook was our biggest ethical question in 2001: do you want to see who has been checking out your krypin, or do you want to check people out anonymously?
- Diary, the Graffiti Wall (Klotterplanket) and Spana already existed in 3.0. New in 2001: VÅJS (20 March), VRÅL (2 July) and MobbeGodis (10 October).
- The survey: ”Yes, I want to see who has visited my Krypin” or ”No, because I want to check out Krypins anonymously”.
- Friend icons: Sweet-smelling, Heart friend, Bjarne look-alike, Kissy cucumber, Snobby bastard, Wine guzzler, Old ex.
- The site was down for almost 18 % of January 2001; the weekly statistics have a dip in week 4: ”Version change”.
- 61 server photos from the build on 24 January 2001.
