LunarStorm contacts the National Criminal Police itself
CEO Kjell Sallén contacts Rikskriminalen (the National Criminal Police) on his own initiative about hijacked accounts, harassment and illegal material. It is the start of a long collaboration on safety.
We would rather be the first to call the police than the last.
- At the time LunarStorm had 650,000 accounts and about 100,000 unique visitors a day.
- In February 2002 Rädda Barnen (Save the Children) trained the support team; in April 2002 Kjell Sallén lectured to Nordic internet investigators at Rikskrim's request.
- In 2003 Klas Karlsson sat on the reference group for the EU project SAFT on children's safety online.
