RunarStorm? No thanks.
Runar Søgaard wants to call the forum on his new site for Christians in Sweden RunarStorm, and asks for permission. The answer is no. There will be no RunarStorm.
I’ve already binned him, so you don’t need to discuss it.
- On 16 January 2003 Runar Søgaard’s web producer got in touch. They wanted to call the forum section of the new site, aimed at Christians in Sweden, RunarStorm. “A bit ironic”, he wrote himself.
- A law firm had advised them against the name without LunarStorm’s consent.
- Johan Forsberg passed the question on to management: “It’s a strange company we run... no doubt.”
- The next morning Rickard replied: “we don’t want you to use the name RunarStorm.”
- Runar also rang Rickard himself to get permission. He didn’t get it, and he wasn’t pleased.
