The youth referendum on the euro

600,000 members under 18 get to vote by post via LunarMejl. On election day 183,702 young people vote: 70% no, 26% yes and 4% blank.

• The result was shown live by county, municipality and postal town.
• The EMU discussion thread got 90,000 posts; the local paper Sundsvalls Tidning, the Gothenburg tabloid GT and Sydsvenskan, the Malmö daily, wrote about it.
