LunarStorm closes. *KJAAAM*
“Now we're closing Lunarstorm … *KJAAAM* Lunarstorm is dead, long live LS8.” After just over ten years, the site goes dark.
I didn't cry … What I felt was more of a quiet bitterness. We had 1.2 million members, 80 percent of all Swedish teenagers, and didn't manage to make anything sensible of it.
- The farewell text: “After just over 10 years, it is time to let the memories take over and bid farewell to an era in Swedish internet history.”
- Members could import their presentation, gallery and blog to LS8.
- Members' diaries, guestbooks and Kollage pictures disappeared with the site. The prologue: “The teenage identity of two million Swedes. Gone.”
