The Internetmuseum podcast: LunarStorm meets Skunk
In the podcast from the Swedish Internet Museum (Internetmuseum), Rickard and Skunk founder Andreas Harnemo talk about the pioneering spirit of the 90s. Later: a 54-minute video interview.
I get that question almost every day from old members, because they want to look back nostalgically at their old pictures and diary entries … I honestly don't know if it's technically possible to put all that equipment back together again.
- The video, 2016-04-19: the origin of the name, “Blue Lunar Storm” (about 10:05).
- On the archive: LunarStorm ran on “hundreds of servers” and large disk cabinets, nothing anyone had taken home on a hard drive.
- On the language: “So I had to make up strange Swedish words instead, which you could tell on the site.”
