LunarStorm on TV4, probably Nyhetsmorgon
A segment on TV4, Sweden's largest commercial channel, highlights LunarStorm: “if Lunarstorm had come about in Silicon Valley, Facebook wouldn't have been called Facebook.”
Somebody always turns up who wants to talk about LunarStorm. It still makes me a little proud.
- The segment: “This was built by Rickard Eriksson … in Varberg, who built it all by himself.”
- “The paws came when you had someone who'd written”. People still remember the stamping feet.
- The segment claims 95% penetration among secondary and upper secondary school pupils, unverified.
- Programme and broadcast date are not confirmed; file date 2023-06-15.
- The clip was filmed off the TV screen on 15 June 2023 at 09:56 (the file's metadata). The broadcast time points to TV4's breakfast show Nyhetsmorgon.
- In the segment: Rickard built Stajl Plejs “all by himself” in 1996 and relaunched it in 2000; 95% of secondary and upper secondary school pupils were on it.
