IRC server and Java chat on stajl.ml.org

Rickard installs an IRC server with a Java client. The idea: move the BBS meeting place to the ”cool new Internet”.

Rick wrote in your guestbook

I sat in my claustrophobically cramped but charming flat on Strandgatan in Varberg and installed an IRC server with a Java client at the web address stajl.ml.org.

Written on 17 September 2006 as ”exactly 10 years ago”, probably installation and testing before the public launch.
The server was at work, at IntraSystems in the Yellow Villa (Gula villan); Rickard lived on Strandgatan.
Stajl Plejs Community started out as a simple JavaChat (Presentation.doc 1999).
