The launch party at Oscars in Varberg
Official premiere. Launch party at Oscars with a live band and Kee Marcello of Europe on stage. LunarStorm has almost 100,000 members.
I was happiest around two o'clock, when I knew everything had gone smoothly.
- The live band played ”När det blåser på månen”, Robert Jonsson's song for the launch, with Kee Marcello of Europe on the guitar solo.
- Hallands Nyheter (HN), the local paper in Varberg's region, 2000: ”Now it's official. Varberg's internet company LunarWorks, with the community LunarStorm, is in the game.”
- Of the 1,000 who applied, 60 members got in, plus the staff. After 11 pm the doors were opened.
- Iceebear and HobbeN, who met on Stajl on 13 May 1999, were there as a newly engaged couple: ”Kärlek på nätet” (Love on the net).
- 219 photos: a LunarStorm banner on stage, a packed dance floor, staff in LunarStorm shirts.
- The LunarStorm member RobJon (Robert Jonsson) sang. Guests came all the way from Kiruna, and FreakyJohnsson met his chat friend for the first time after a year and a half.
