The first wave of press: ”a super cosy community”
In spring and summer 2000 Göteborgs-Posten (GP), the Gothenburg daily, writes about LunarStorm, as do the Swedish design magazine Cap & Design, IT-Extra, the Swedish internet magazine Internetworld and Nollett. GP: ”A super cosy community”.

Suddenly the papers wanted to talk to us. We still hadn't grasped that we were a company.
- GP, 28 May 2000 (back page): ”A super cosy community where you can meet like-minded people.”
- Cap & Design, April 2000: Rickard draws all the graphics himself; the pixel font from the Amiga days; over 20 % of the users are over 28.
- Cap & Design: ”When we look for people we don't want ordinary web agency people but community freaks.”
- Internetworld no. 5/2000: ”Lunarstorm: Rickard Ericssons sista Internetprojekt?” (Rickard Ericsson's last internet project?)
- Cap & Design: 9 employees in April 2000; ”The hand-pixelled style feels just right, with a lot taken from the good old days of the Commodore 64 and BBSes.”
- Rickard's tips (Cap & Design): not too much graphics, build it fast and easy to use, the right atmosphere, see the community as a working tool.
