The chain letter that would crash the servers
A chain letter urges everyone to log in at the same time, at 9 pm on 22 June, to test the servers and force the crew to buy better ones. It is Midsummer’s Eve.
*giggle* There probably won’t be that many people online at 9 pm on Midsummer’s Eve
- There were plenty of chain letters: free PRO if you send this to five friends (signed Peter and Bjarne), closure on Christmas Day and the rumour that Kalle Anka (the Donald Duck Christmas special) would stop being broadcast.
- The ticker said that chain letters earned minus points in status, and that anyone who needed to send them could use the post office.
