Svenska Dagbladet on the Lunar couples who met on LunarStorm
On the 30th anniversary, Svenska Dagbladet (SvD), a national daily newspaper, writes about everyone who fell in love on LunarStorm. According to a survey Rick did in the early 2000s, there were already around 5,000 married Lunar couples back then.

Lunarstorm was no dating site, but that's the kind of thing that happens when you hang out. Before you know it, you've fallen for someone.
- SvD meets a couple in south Stockholm who started chatting on LunarStorm when they were 16 and 18 and are still together: “We're eternally grateful to Lunarstorm.”
- The couple remember the guestbook, the message in a bottle and the Graffiti Wall (Klotterplanket), and that meeting someone on the internet was more taboo back then.
- Rick says LunarStorm was built for girls first and foremost, from the colours and the graphic design to what the features were called. In the end, about half the members were women and half men.
- LunarStorm turning 30 makes Rick feel “bloody old”.
