Hallands Nyheter on the couples who found love on LunarStorm
Hallands Nyheter (HN), the local paper in Varberg's region, meets two couples who found each other in LunarStorm's chats, in Kinna in 2001 and in Skåne in 2006. One couple celebrates 25 years this year, the other is married with three children.
- The couple in Kinna got in touch in the chat room in 2001. She had noticed that he was often online early in the morning, and the first message was “you were an early bird”.
- The first date nearly became the last. After a while in the car he said he had to go home and watch Rederiet (the TV soap). A week later they met at a party, and after that it was the two of them.
- “Today everyone meets on Tinder, but we were ahead of our time because we met on Lunarstorm.”
- The other couple met in 2006, when she was looking for new friends in one of the chats. Today they are married with three children.
