lunarstorm.dk launches
The licence to Tele Danmark (TDC) is announced to the press in early September. On 17 September lunarstorm.dk opens, with a campaign in the Danish Big Brother house.

Denmark was our first trip abroad. It wasn’t much of a success, but the Danes protested when it was going to close.
- Internally the project was called “Folkprojektet” (the People Project). Swedish LunarStorm members were asked not to register on the Danish site.
- 2,940 members on 25 September and 4,377 on 2 October 2001; in November a campaign in 600 Danish schools.
- February 2002: the Danish member newsletter “SPAM” with Navleuld, SminkeGenerator, WZUP and Flirt og fjas; login via TDC’s portal Opasia.
- The Swedish internet magazine Internetworld, 2002: the concept sold to Tele Danmark.
- The archive: banners, postcards, mini krypins and press for Denmark.
